BEING A WILD AND FREE WOMAN

“ALL GOOD THINGS ARE WILD AND FREE”-Henry David Thoreau

This was a text from a dear friend of mine, at a time where i was going through an emotional breakdown . This simple sentences kept me thinking for a while and i asked myself “what does being wild really mean?” After much meditation, research and soul searching i got to understand what she meant and thats how i came up with this write up. I’ve written this post with so much love and i hope you will all enjoy it.

To be wild and free means to live from a place of your inherent worth and value. It means owning your imperfections as much as your strengths as worthy and valuable parts of yourself.Being wild and free comes with knowing your self worth and accepting your flaws.

Wild women do

And they don’t regret it

Wild women show

What they’re going through

Wild women do

What you think they’ll never

What you only dream about

Wild women do.

Natalie Cole, Wild Women Do lyrics

To be wild means to be heart free, and soul free.To be wild means to be led by the heart, and what i mean by the heart is the passion that ignites life and purpose in someone’s being.A wild woman is neither good nor bad; she is right in the middle, playfully creating her own sense of balance.

A wild woman is rare, and she is hard to find. She is chaotic if not chaos itself. She is full of surprises and is always up to some kind of adventure. A wild woman has love for everyone and its that kind of love that comes with no conditions,no expectation, and no expiry date.

Here are some things that wild and free women have:

1. SHE FUCKS YOU RIGHT

She knows your weak spot but she never uses it against you,she cares about what excites you.She is open-minded about trying new things and open to have the most honest conversations. A wild woman is gentle and rough;she likes romance and ignites desire in your heart and body by stimulating your mind. Her kisses catch your breath away and they make you feel something you haven’t felt in a while. You just cannot keep up and you love it.

2. SHE’S A FIGHTER

She calls you out on your shit, she is hard on you because she sees potential in you.She is not a perfectionist but she loves life so much that she wants to feel everything at the highest capacity. She is an optimist who makes the best of what she has.You can count on her because she doesn’t bail on you in your moment of need .She does not give up on you when you have given up on yourself and she does not give you up because things are tough.Although it might seem as she is fighting you,she is fighting for you and she is fighting with you.

3. SHE SHOWS YOU DARK AND LIGHT

She’s been at the highest place and lowest place. A wild woman keeps its real, so she shares with you her most delightful moments and the saddest ones because she is not afraid of showing her vulnerable self on a good or bad day. She is equally comfortable under the sun and under the moon; she is the definition of raw.

4.SHE DOESN’T ENGAGE IN RELATIONSHIPS THAT DONT WORK OR ARE MEANINGLESS TO HER

Without a relationship with intuition ,we become lost, susceptible to predatory influences and disconnected from ourselves and those around us.Our intuition may show up as a still, small voice inside us, a gut feeling, or a sense of knowing. If we listen it tells us how to best show up in relationships we are in. When those relationships are no longer serving our best interests, our instinct tells us when and how to step away.

Relationships can be our greatest source of growth or they can be our greatest cages.Women who are wild and free know that the choice is always theirs.

5.SHE KNOWS WHO AND WHAT SHE IS

Women who are wild and free know that their worth comes from who they are and not what they do.She doesn’t look for the love or approval of others. She is values her own dignity and sovereignty above all else because she knows they are what keep her connected and autonomous.

While she doesn’t strive for perfection, she is always looking to grow herself, her knowledge, her abilities, talents, strength and vitality. She knows that growth involves work, and often also involves fear, and she is willing to be brave and flexible to reach her goals.

I hope we all can be able to work towards being wild and free individuals; in short being the best version of ourselves.

with love……

xoxo……….jill out!
